Product Updates Reminder - April 2022

We would like to make you aware of the following changes, please make a note of this if it applies to you:

Terrafirma - Price Increase

As a customer purchasing Terrafirma Reports we wanted to make you aware they will be increasing the price of both the Residential Ground Report and also the Residential CON29M Coal Report.

From April 5th 2022 the following increases will apply:

>> The CON29M report for Residential will be increasing by £2.00 +VAT to £45.00
>> The Ground report for Residenital will be increasing by £4.00 +VAT to £59.00

Rest assure that the update will be applied automatically so you won't need to do anything.

Thames Water - Policy Change 

Thames Water have made us aware of a policy change as follows:

As of 1st April 2022, they will no longer facilitate making amendments free of charge after a search had been completed - under the following circumstances:

>> A client providing an incorrect or imcomplete search address.
>> The billing information/meter reference related to a while building/single property needing to be switched round.
>> A 'Land At' search - where the billing information/meter reference could be provided at a later date.

This decision has been made in light of their current available resource, so as to ensure that they continue to provide the level of service they know all clients have come to expect of Thames Water.

What does this mean for my orders?

Moving forward, Thames Water will now only offer to amend a search result free of charge if they have made an error in compiling a report or evidence that there is a discrepancy. 

With this in mind, we ask that you please double-check all addresses and plans to be correct at time of submission - with the understanding that any amendments will then require an additional search at a further cost. 

Water Companies & Local Authority price increase

Please see below the prices rises from Anglian, Severn Trent and Yorkshire water coming to effect from 1st April 2022

>> Anglian Water CON29DW Residential will be increasing by £2.50 +VAT to £54.50
>> Anglian Water CON29DWC Commercial will be increasing by £7.00 +VAT to £127.00
>> Severn Trent CON29DW Residential will be increasing by £2.00 +VAT to £53.00
>> Severn Trent CON29DWC Commercial will be increasing by £10.00 +VAT to £217.00
>> Yorkshire Water CON29DW Residential will be increasing by £1.97 +VAT to £50.30
>> Yorkshire Water CON29DW Commercial no increase

Future Climate Information (FCI) price changes from 3rd March 2022

As you may already be aware, we've been notified by Future Climate Info (FCI) that they will be making changes to their pricing and product range - including some increases to their size-bandings - effective from Thursday 3rd March 2022.
